Yvette Cruz

Yvette Cruz is a proud Mexican American and daughter of immigrants, originally from Miami—“305 till I die,” as the worldwide philosopher Pitbull would say. She joined Up Above in February 2025 after working on a range of high-profile productions including Premios Tu Mundo, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, the YouTube Originals documentary “Paper Children,” and Nickelodeon’s “I Am Frankie.”
Yvette holds a Master’s in Global Strategic Communications with a Certification in Conflict Resolution from Florida International University, a Bachelor’s in Fashion Merchandise and Retail Marketing with a minor in Marketing Management from Johnson & Wales University, and three associate degrees from Miami Dade College in Television Broadcast, Accounting Technology, and Accounting.
With a strong foundation in production and strategy, Yvette brings creativity, precision, and passion to every project she touches.
