Marco Gonzalez

Marco Gonzalezwas born in McAllen, Texas, and moved with his family to Houston at the young age of four. He was raised on the southeast side of Houston and graduated from South Houston High School. Marco earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and later obtained his Juris Doctorate from Arizona Summit Law School in Phoenix, Arizona.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Ricardo Gonzalez, Marco became an attorney to fight for the legal rights of others. His passion for helping people led him to create and grow The Gonzalez Law Group, PLLC, into one of the fastest-growing law firms in the country. The firm represents clients in a variety of legal areas, including criminal defense, family law, immigration, estate administration, probate, business, entertainment, and personal injury cases.

Marco has always had entrepreneurial ambitions and, in recent years, has expanded into several other industries. He adopted the slogan “Up Above” for his other ventures to signify the high standards he strives for in each endeavor, as well as to reflect a life lived with passion and purpose — with the ultimate goal of ensuring his path leads “Up Above” in the afterlife.

He owns Up Above Adventures, a fishing and pleasure charter company based in Galveston, Texas. Additionally, he operates Up Above Realty and Up Above Venue — a real estate company and a high-end rental venue for various events. Marco also founded Up Above Media, a full-service media company, and Up Above Entertainment, a multi-category entertainment and recording company. Both are located in the heart of his beloved H-Town, just minutes from downtown in the historic Gulfgate area.

Marco Gonzalez values family time and is a proud father of three sons and one daughter. He encourages others to live life with positivity and love — and to always seek the path Up Above.
