Elva Treviño

Elva Treviño is a Houston-based entrepreneur, community activist, and nonprofit leader working at the intersection of health, entertainment, sports, and technology. Honored with the 2024 Houston Mayor’s Hispanic Heritage Award for Arts in the Community, she has transformed creative and business landscapes by uniting leaders across industries, cultures, and generations.

As founder of the Houston Celebrity Entertainment and Arts Soirée and Community Partnerships Director for the International Entertainment Partnership (IEP), Elva drives collaborations that connect civic leaders, consulates, and stakeholders to strengthen Houston’s sports and entertainment sectors. Through strategic partnerships such as Up Above Entertainment, she helps lead global brand collaborations and position Houston as a beacon of unity ahead of the 2026 games—creating opportunities for both international brands and local talent.

Recognized as one of the Top 100 Visionaries in Healthcare, Elva mentors high-performance teams and builds winning cultures, guiding athletes, executives, and creative innovators through mindset, leadership, and performance strategies. Her mentorship spans Grammy and Emmy Award winners, CEOs, and students—from inner-city Houston to Ivy League campuses. She believes that success means little unless it’s duplicated in others and used to uplift local communities along the way.

She recently pitched a $15 million, sports-inspired park project for the upcoming BIG GAME before Texas senators—advancing resources and economic opportunity for Houston’s youth and Latino community. Her contributions have earned recognition from four different mayors in Houston and South Texas, including proclamations of her own official days and multiple Community Activist of the Year nominations.

Despite personal health challenges, Elva remains dedicated to raising her daughter and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Her vision is to merge the worlds of arts, health, technology, and sports to create thriving, innovative communities with strong financial, educational, and cultural opportunities for all.
